PRICING

When I lost my horse Spartan suddenly to Wobbler’s disease, I always regretted the fact that I never took the time to get any professional photos of him and me together. While show photos and quick phone snaps were wonderful and cute, they never seemed to describe the emotional aspect of our relationship. These Horse & Rider sessions were created to help capture memories that can be valuable forever. Whether it’s a new relationship or one that has spanned decades, my goal is to celebrate all the hard work and the joy we find in the partnerships formed with these amazing animals. Each horse and rider are unique and one of a kind so no session is the same. I find moments that are special just to you.

HORSE & RIDER

 

The Minimalist

This Horse & Rider session is for those who wish to have a digital gallery of memories. A session shoot time of up to 45 minutes and 1 outfit change, you receive 30 fully edited, social media images with a small logo on them and the option to further purchase high resolution, print ready images. Only for one horse and rider but puppies and partners are welcome for a shot or two.

$300, $50 per high resolution image

The Essentialist

This Horse & Rider session is for those who want a little bit of both worlds. A session of up to 1.5 hours and up to 2 outfit changes, you receive 50 fully edited social media images with a small logo on them and 10 high resolution images ready for printing. For one to two horses with partners and puppies welcome.

$600, $50 per additional high resolution image

The Maximalist

Let’s go the whole nine yards! This session can be for multiple horses (up to 4) or spend the whole time with a single horse. A session up to 2.5 hours and as many outfit changes as you like, you receive 100 fully edited social media images with a small logo on them and 25 high resolution, print ready images. Puppies and partners are welcome!

$1000, $45 per additional high resolution image

BLACK BACKGROUND PORTRAITS

Forget the human, it’s all about the horse. These sessions celebrate these incredible creatures we are lucky enough to call partners. Those perfectly pricked ears, that adorable nose, those gosh-darn soulful eyes! No detail is overlooked. Both barn aisle or studio light sessions are possible and show ready halters can be provided upon request.

The Artist

The only thing needed to make this black background happen is a barn aisle. A little Photoshop goes a long way! This 30-40 minute session can be with a halter, bridle, or loose as long as it is safe to do so. You will receive 10 fully edited images in both social media and print ready versions. One horse per session.

The Old-Master

Time to make some art like the old masters. This black background session is all about the lights, much like the use of chiarosuco in Caravaggio’s paintings. With studio lights strategically set up to highlight the beautiful details of your horse, these images are on another level. While the shoot time is only 45 minutes, this session is a full hour to allow the horse to get acclimated to the lights. These can happen almost anywhere there is an outlet, though a barn aisle or a covered indoor are very helpful. Halter, bridle, loose, or all three, it’s your choice! You will receive 25 fully edited images in both social media and print ready versions. One horse per session.
